THREE people have been arrested in connection with the death Michael Blake, who died after being found shot in the back in the head.
The two men and a woman were held by detectives investigating how Mr Blake was killed.
He was found unconscious with gunshot wounds to the head and leg in a ginnel beside his Manchester Road, Westhoughton, home at 11.10pm on Thursday November 3 - just eight minutes after being driven away from his house in a van.
Both men arrested are 27-years-old and were arrested on suspicion of murder.
One was released on bail and the second remains in custody.
A 52-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Mr Blake, a HGV delivery driver, was found by police who were called out to a 999 call reporting a hit-and-run collision.
The father-of-one, known as Blakey, was taken to Salford Royal Hospital but died the next day.
