Armed police next to an ambulance after the Manchester Arena terrorist attack on May 22
A MAN has been arrested in connection with the investigation into the attack at Manchester Arena, after handing himself in to police.
The 20-year-old man voluntarily presented at North Manchester Police Station on Wednesday night.
He was arrested on suspicion of offences contrary to the Terrorism Act and remains in custody.
As it stands 21 people have now been arrested in connection with the investigation, of which twelve people have been released without charge.
A total of nine individuals remain in custody.
