Three men threatened Spar staff during a robbery in Plodder Lane
THREE masked men threatened shop staff during a robbery in Farnworth.
The men entered the Spar in Plodder Lane on Saturday evening.
They had their faces covered and were carrying knives, which they used to threaten staff.
Police were called at 8.45pm and reported that the men made off with a small quantity of cash.
There are no reports of any injuries and police are investigating.
