POLICE have released CCTV images of three men they want to trace in connection with a robbery at a phone shop in which staff were threatened.

The robbery happened on Wednesday, May 9 at the EE Mobile phone shop in Bradshawgate in Leigh.

Police were called to the shop at 11.40am after three men threatened staff and ripped phones from the display before fleeing with almost £5,000 worth of goods.

Officers are hoping the public can help them identify the three men pictured.

PC Georgina Longman from GMP’s Wigan borough said: "We have issued images of three men wanted in connection with this brazen robbery, we are hoping the public can help us identify them.

"This happened in the middle of the day, when there were customers in the shop.

"We know that the public’s help will be key in order for us to find those responsible and get justice for those staff and customers left shaken and terrified."
