61-year-old man arrested after reports a girl was raped and another girl sexually assaulted
A MAN has been arrested after reports that a girl was raped and another girl was sexually assaulted.
Officers arrested the 61-year-old at Georgina Court in Morris Green yesterday (Tuesday) on suspicion of rape and sexual assault.
He was taken into police custody.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "It follows a report to police on Tuesday that a girl was raped in the Daubhill area while another girl was sexually assaulted.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
