POLICE seized 25 cannabis plants and arrested a man following drugs raids in Kearsley.

The 35-year-old was detained after officers executed a warrant at an address in Grosvenor Street yesterday morning.

A vehicle at the scene which was left in a “dangerous condition” has also been recovered.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “Shortly after 7.30am on Tuesday June 12, 2018, police carried out a warrant at a house in Grosvenor Street in Bolton.

“A 35-year old man was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and abstracting electricity. He has been released under investigation.

“A number of suspected cannabis plants were seized and enquiries are ongoing.”
