A FATHER has been warned he faces jail after a jury ruled he helped to steal cars and electrical goods in three burglaries.
Marius Baama, aged 28, of Embla Walk, Burnden, was found guilty of three counts of burglary at Bolton Crown Court today He was part of a gang who broke in to homes in Kendal Road West, Holcombe Brook, Bury, and Princess Road, Lostock, on April 22 last year, stealing an Alfa Romeo and an Audi. Electrical goods were stolen from the properties.
A third burglary took place at Crompton's Farm, off Slack Lane, Bradshaw, on June 19 last year, when jewellery, a computer and £20,000 was taken.
Baama said he admitted handling the stolen goods, but denied being part of the gang which had broken in. He also denied intimidating witness Zoe Greamer.
Baama will appear in court on Monday when a date for sentencing will be fixed. Alongside him will be Lewis Chorlton, aged 21, of Roxalina Street, Deane, who has pleaded guilty to all three burglaries and Ashley Derbyshire, aged 19, of Tildsley Street, Deane, has pleaded guilty to the burglaries at Slack Lane and Princess Road.
