Arrests made in connection with Chorley Old Road stabbing

POLICE have arrested four people in connection with a stabbing in Bolton.

Two men aged 18, an 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old youth were arrested today on suspicion of wounding.

The arrests were made in connection with an incident that took place in Chorley Old Road, near the junction with Turk Street, on Friday, July 11.

A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which were not life threatening.

The four people arrested remain in police custody for questioning.
