Getting hooked at fishing day

NOVICE fishermen and women cast off at a special event to get more people involved in the sport.
A taster session was held at Bradshaw Fisheries, Bradshaw, by the Bolton branch of Get Hooked on Fishing group.
The event coincided with the start of National Fishing Week on Saturday, which runs until July 27.
Twenty people took part with coaches on hand to guide them.
A spokesman for Get Hooked on Fishing said: “We would like to thank Bradshaw Fisheries for providing the venue and Britain’s Aquatic Superstore for helping with bait and tackle. It was a very successful day”
