PLANS to build 12 houses in Blackrod have been put on hold, after car parking concerns.
Wainhomes Developments has applied to build seven detached houses, two semi-detached ones and a row of three homes with garages where No 197 Station Road currently stands.
But critics say a proposed access road would eat up parking space, which is already in short supply.
Bolton Council’s planning committee deferred a decision on Thursday and urged the company to consider reducing the development by one house to create more parking space.
