Online auction seller admits conning bidders

A MAN who conned eBay customers has admitted fraud.

Jason Hart, aged 33, appeared at Bolton Crown Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.

Hart, of Moorside Avenue, Farnworth, had advertised goods on eBay, without having the items to sell.

The charges relate to a period between August 28, 2006, and March, 2007.

Hart is on bail and the case has been adjourned until January 5 for sentencing.

Louise Gregory, aged 26, of Victoria Street, Farnworth, also appeared at Bolton Crown Court yesterday, charged with conspiracy to commit fraud.

She pleaded not guilty.

Her trial will be held at Bolton Crown Court on January 5.
