Help X Factor star Laura land her first number one

LAURA White is finally set to release her debut single — and the X Factor star wants YOU to choose the song.

The 21-year-old singer is leaving the final decision on which track she will release first up to her loyal fanbase.

Laura, originally from Atherton, says asking her fans to choose her first single is a way of thanking them for their support since she got the boot from The X Factor.

She said: “I’m so excited. I love the new songs and I can’t wait to find out which one my fans pick.

“Bolton is my home town and everyone is so supportive every time I come here. I would love it if the people of Bolton can help me get to number one.”

The singing sensation shot to fame last year when she was named as the hot favourite to win the TV talent contest, watched by millions every week.

However, she was controversially axed from the show in November by judge Louis Walsh, sparking outrage from fans. TV bosses were inundated with complaints and 50,000 fans signed a petition asking for her to be reinstated.

But since leaving the show, Laura says she has barely had a day off. She achieved her dream of playing in front of her home crowd of 20,000 fans at the MEN Arena on The X Factor tour, and has made TV and radio appearances since she shot to stardom.

For the past two months she has been locked away in a small recording studio in London writing material for her debut album.

Now former University of Bolton student Laura, complete with a new image, is set to embark on a tour of radio stations and schools across the country to promote her first single.

She said: “Since I was on X Factor, my life has been crazy — I’ve not stopped in months. I can’t wait to come and sing at schools in Bolton.”

Laura will begin touring the country once fans have selected her debut single from a choice of three songs. To help choose her first major release go to laurawhiteofficial.com
