YOUNG musicians have been getting to grips with a new instrument.
Year Six children at Lever Edge Primary, in Great Lever, are getting to grips with the steel drum.
The pupils are being taught to play by staff from the Bolton music Service, in preparation for a concert they will hold in the summer term.
Throughout they year, the youngsters will be sounding-off their new musical talents in assemblies.
Teacher Claire Shaw said: “The pupils are picking up how to play very quickly and they are really enjoying it.”
