HOSPICE staff donned their pyjamas in the middle of the day to launch their biggest fundraising event of the year.
Entry is now open for St Ann’s Hospice’s Manchester Midnight Walk on Friday, July 2.
The charity, which has a facility in Little Hulton and a shop in Walkden’s Ellesmere Centre, is urging people to sign up to the event, which is in its fourth year and has raised nearly £500,000.
Thousands of walkers will complete a 10k route. The money they raise will help St Ann’s Hospice, which has two other Greater Manchester centres, care for the hundreds of sick and dying patients it sees each year, as well as supporting their relatives and friends.
To find out more or register for the Manchester Midnight Walk visit sah.org.uk.
PYJAMA GAMES: Jane Bagley, staff nurse, Kate Beardow, fundraising co-ordinator, Kirsty Barry, event fund-raiser and Theresa Barrett, cook, lead the charge with staff from St Anne’s hospice dressed in their best night attire to launch the midnight charity walk
