‘Slumdog’ a hit with home fans

DANNY Boyle’s box office smash Slumdog Millionaire has continued to tickle film fans at home as the most popular rental choice this year, according to a new survey.
The Radcliffe-born former Thornleigh Salesian College pupil continues to win accolades for the movie, months after cleaning up at the Oscars.
Fliss White, of Lovefilm, the rental company which carried out the survey, said: “Slumdog Millionaire was the real winner this year across the nation’s homes.”
