MEP says wind farms are a ‘con’

THE wind farm industry is a ‘big con’ according to a Bolton euro MP.

North West MEP Paul Nuttall, the UKIP deputy leader, is backing a petition calling for a debate in Parliament to discuss a reduction in wind farm subsidies.

He said: “The wind farm industry is a big con which makes money for investors at the expense of our electricity bills. It is not, and never will be, a cost-effective way of producing energy and meanwhile our countryside and seas are being blighted in a headlong rush to meet ridiculous EU targets.”

Hurrah for Paul Nuttall who is one MEP who clearly understands that the helpless electricity bill payers are being deceived in the name of 'green energy', and also appears to be concerned about the devastation caused to the countryside by unsightly and inefficient wind farms. I urge everyone to Google Petition 22704 and sign it, so that Members of the House of Commons at last realise the depth of feeling against these monstrosities which blight our beautiful countryside.
