FIREFIGHTERS are calling for a group of derelict houses in Little Hulton to be demolished after one was set alight.
Officers were called to Owlwood Close at about 8pm last night after a blaze was started in the empty house.
It suffered structural damage to joists and floorboards.
It is one of four derelict houses on the Kenyon Way Estate which firefighters say are becoming a cause for concern.
A spokesman said: "They've been derelict for quite a while now and people can get into them and set fire to them. They want demolishing."
