EGG-cited youngsters had a cracking time when the celebrated Easter with a traditional egg hunt.
Children at Gaskell Primary in Bolton were delighted to discover the Easter bunny had visited their school on the last day of term — leaving them to undertake the fun challenge of trying to find them.
Headteacher Emily Kirk said: “Our annual Gaskell Easter Egg Hunt was once again a great success.
“The children all had a wonderful time in the sunshine, exploring our school grounds and working together to find all of the eggs which had been carefully hidden by the staff — a wonderful and happy end to a super term at Gaskell.”
The children were surprised at how well hidden the tasty treats were.
Amin Ayman, aged seven, said:"There were eggs everywhere, even in the trees! I found four but shared them with my friends. I had a really great time"
Prusha Ali, aged four, added: "I love the Easter Bunny, she hid some eggs for us to find, it was fun.”
