YOUNG fashionistas showed they had all the right moves when they took to the catwalk.

Sharples Primary School children enjoyed a glimpse into the glamorous world of fashion thanks to 100 per cent Commitment, a company that works with models.

Over two days, year one pupils experienced what it was like to a fashion model, including having their hair and make-up done, before taking to the runway to showcase the latest trends.

Lisa Shaw, an administrator at Sharples Primary School, said: “Jamal Dias, who has a sone in year one, offered to come into school and work with the schoolchildren.

“Parents came in for the fashion show on the second day.

“The children loved it and it helped build their confidence too.”
