FATHER Christmas joined in the fun at St Joseph's RC High School's seasonal fair.

Visitors enjoyed everything from raffles with top prizes to bacon and sausage barms at the Horwich school.

The traditional event brought in people throughout the day who had a chance to pick up some Christmas gifts while getting into the festive season.

Other attractions at the Christmas fair included stalls selling crafts, groceries, home baking, Gaelic coffees, jewellery.

There were also games, face painting plus lots more while younger visitors told Santa what they would like for Christmas.

The Christmas fair was organised by the school's Parent School Association (PSA).

Andrea Taylor, member of the PSA , said: "We had a constant flow of visitors from noon until 3pm and they had a good time.

"It was very successful and the money raised will go towards support the school."
