JAW-dropping creatures from the rainforest wowed youngsters at Bromley Cross Library.
A collection of different species from Bolton Museum were donated to the library for the day, including a crocodile, tarantula and chameleon.
Youngsters aged two to 11 made up their own stories based on these creatures and were taught the history behind each specimen.
Alex McLeman, learning officer for Bolton Library and Museum Services, ran the session.
He said: "It was very encouraging to see the age ranges of the children who attended — it shows how fascinating the diversity of these creatures is.
"They really enjoyed seeing these species up close and hopefully they've learnt something valuable from it."
