IT was a case of 'au revoir' rather than goodbye for Suzanne Fairhurst's last day at Stepping Stones Nursery where she has chalked up 18-years.
Nursery manager Mrs Fairhurst, from Harwood, was presented with a bouquet of flowers from children and enjoyed a special lunch.
Beverly Perkins, co-owner of the nursery in Chorley Old Road, said: "Suzanne has been brilliant.
"All the children and all the staff enjoyed lunch together and the staff are all going out next week.
"Suzanne, who is going to work in an office for her son, said she come back regularly to see the children."
She added: "The nursery has been here for 20 years but between them the staff have worked here a total of 200 years."
