CLASSIC children's tale The Gruffalo roared into life at a storytelling session in Bolton.
A Gruffalo craft afternoon was held at Hall i’ th’ Museum where children listened to storyteller Alex Mcleman.
Stephen Cope, museum assistant at Hall i’ th’ Museum, said: “It was a great day, absolutely excellent.
“We had about 60 children attend and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
“Alex came down from the Bolton Museum with Gruffalo characters, stuffed animals, toys and props which kept the children entertained all day.
“He read The Gruffalo stories and hosted a craft afternoon which everyone loved.
“Alex really involved the children and it was an excellent success.
“Whenever we hold these kind of days and The Gruffalo or even Harry Potter stories are involved they prove really popular and so many people are interested.”
