YOUNG people with a passion for The Bard have an opportunity to explore the fascinating world of Shakespeare with leading academics.
The University of Bolton in partnership with the Octagon Theatre is running an Investigate Day to discuss the playwright and how his work has transcended across many genres and mediums.
The day will have a particular focus on A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Rebecca Albrow, Creative Industries Project Manager at the University, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone aged 14 years or over that has a passion for Shakespeare’s plays.”
Academics from across the country will attend and give presentations and lecturers.
Places are free, but must be booked before Friday, February 5 for the event on Saturday 27 February, from 9.30am at the university.
It ends with a matinee performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Octagon Theatre.
