OLIVER Wotherspoon and his firm Bolton-based Cool Canvas are celebrating their most rewarding project to date after creating a magical Hobbit Hole for the children of Alex Wood, who suffered a massive brain injury during a game of rugby.
Oliver, who featured on Channel 4 Amazing Spaces after he transformed his garden into a enchanting Hobbit hole for his children, will be on television again tonight.
He will be on Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Garden, in which he recreates the Hobbit house for Mr Water’s children for free, before transporting it to their home in Devon.
Oliver, aged 32, from Over Hulton, said: “We had four weeks to create it so it was quick turnaround. It was challenging but so rewarding.”
Alex and his family had achieved their dream to move to France before he suffered the injury, leaving him wheelchair-bound, blind and in need of constant care.
Love Your Garden is on ITV at 8pm.
