1. Get behind the oche and throw some arrows with world darts champion Lisa Ashton in Little Lever. The BDO champ, from Johnson Fold, will be at a charity exhibition night of fun and darts at Henighan's, Lever Street, on Friday.
2. Rock out with Guns N' Roses star Slash on his arena tour. Considered to be one of the greatest rock guitar players of all time, Slash, featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, will be at the Phones 4u Arena on Friday night.
3. Slide, ride and glide your way around Bolton this weekend at the Winter Wonderland. On Saturday, the annual festive extravaganza opens in the town centre with a snow slide, giant Ferris wheel, ice rink and Santa’s grotto.
4. Thinking of putting your Christmas tree up this weekend? Get some inspiration at the annual Christmas Tree Festival and Craft Fair at Birtenshaw Methodist Church & Bromley Cross Village Hall between 9am and 6pm on Saturday.
5. Join dancers, stilt walkers and even robots at a Bolton nightclub as it celebrates its 12th birthday. J2’s Biggest Birthday Party Ever will take place on Saturday night.
