AN acoustic band delighted shoppers with their musical stylings and raised cash for charity at the same time.
The Travellin' Strings, a multi-guitar band based in Chew Moor, performed classic tracks from yesteryear at the Market Place Shopping Centre on Saturday to boost funds for Alzheimer's Research.
Brothers Chris and Tony Ward, Tim Eden, Steve Liptrot, Bob Atkinson, Les Beardworth and Colin O’Brien make up the acoustic seven-piece, who play gigs around the Bolton area to help raise money for the Alzheimer's charity.
The charity is close to the heart of Chris and Tony Ward, whose father Chris died from the disease in May 2008.
