Peter Kay and Sian Gibson in Car Share
VIEWERS have been given a first glimpse of Peter Kay’s new comedy Car Share.
A clip from the forthcoming sitcom features in a trailer to showcase popular BBC programmes to be broadcast throughout 2015.
It shows the 41-year-old Bolton funnyman wearing a vest and in a car with co-star Sian Gibson who plays Kayleigh.
The comedy — about two colleagues who have been thrown together in a company car share scheme — will be launched on BBC iPlayer in spring before being shown on the mainstream channel.
The advertisement also features clips from other shows including The Voice UK, Strictly Come Dancing, Eastenders, Luther and Happy Valley.
