2. Enjoy the classic fairytale of Beauty and the Beast. It is being staged by Bethel Crowd at Westhoughton United Reformed Church on Friday and Saturday.

3. Show off your best dance moves at a Northern Soul night in Little Lever. Singing sensation Lucy Valentine will be at Henighans from 9pm.

4. Forget staying in on a Sunday night and shake off the back to work blues with the sounds of a five-piece punk ska reggae rock covers band.  TVOD will be at the Brass Cat, Churchgate.
