MEET Brooklyn Knox — the little star who is already making a living as an actor and model at the tender age of seven.

The youngster is the star in a new commercial for outdoor equipment store Go Outdoors which aired on television last month.

Brooklyn has already earned £2,000 by starring in adverts and modelling.

The year two pupil at Church Road Primary School is now set to appear as an extra in new ITV drama The Trials of Jimmy Rose which stars Ray Winstone and airs next month.

Her proud mum Jaymee Sewart, aged 37, said: “Everyone thinks their own kid is really cute – of course you do – but I can’t believe how much work Brooklyn is getting.

“She absolutely loves it. When she sees herself on the television she says ‘I am famous’ and she is always showing people the advert on YouTube.

"Brooklyn loves being in front of the camera. If I see her at shoots doing all these poses I think ‘where does she get this from?’ because I hate cameras.

“So far she has made about £2,000 which I have been saving for her.”

Brooklyn has been taking dance and drama lessons at Little Allstars in Farnworth for the last 12 months and has been represented by the Warrington-based EuroKids agency for less than two years.

The Go Outdoors commercial was shot in Nefyn in Wales – close to where Miss Sewart’s parents, who both died recently, used to live.

A teddy Brooklyn’s grandparents bought her, and which she treasures, also made it into the commercial.

Miss Sewart, of Jessop Forge, said her 19-year-old son Jordan is completely different to Brooklyn.

The mother-of-two, work works at Serco, said: “Jordan is quiet and laid back but Brooklyn has this big loud voice.

“She used to be shy, believe it or not.

“This is something she really loves and wants to do, I don’t push her into it.

“When she is performing she just gets on with it – she is so confident. If she gets a knock back she can take it, it does not faze her.”

Miss Sewart now plans to enrol Brooklyn onto the Octagon Theatre’s youth performance programme.
