GRAMMY Award-winning electronic group Clean Bandit will entertain thousands of dance music fans in Horwich this summer.

The four-piece, from Cambridge, will be at the Bolton Whites Hotel, De Havilland Way, on Saturday, August 8.

The number one selling band will play a DJ set, in the venue’s Premier Suite, with support from deep house production duo Blonde and DJ S.K.T.

Clean Bandit enjoyed huge success last year with hit single Rather Be — a collaboration with Jess Glynne.

The song ended 2014 as the year's second best-selling track in the UK, after Happy by Pharrell Williams, having notched up sales of more than 1.13 million copies and also winning this year's Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.

The gig will be the third big music event to be hosted at the hotel in less than six months with Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac and Danny Howard, followed by garage duo Gorgon City, having performed sets earlier this year.

Damian Chadwick, venue controller at Bolton Whites Hotel, said: “We are very proud to welcome such a well-known group like Clean Bandit to the hotel and have no doubt that it will be a huge success as with the previous two music events that we have hosted recently.

“Clean Bandit will perform in front of 3,000 people in our Premier Suite and having the capability to host a UK number one selling band really adds to the varied calendar of events that we already offer at Bolton Whites Hotel and further cements the impressive stamp that we have placed on the music industry.”

Also on the line-up are DJ Just Jorge, Lewis Smith, Kriston McGrath, Jordan Khokhar and Stu Finch.

Tickets to the event, presented by Exploit Events and on from 9pm until 4am, have now been released with pre-sale tickets having already sold out.

Early bird tickets are available for £17.50 from skiddle.com.
