QUIZZERS gathered at Mecca Bingo in Bolton to battle against a top ITV game show star.
Mark "The Beast" Labbett, star of ITV’s The Chase, was in town on Friday (June 19) for the charity event, in which a £500 prize was up for grabs.
More than 150 people went head-to-head against the quiz master and, over the course of an hour, customers' general knowledge was put to the test until only one remained.
Nicola Crompton, aged 34, of Farnworth, made it to the final only to fall at the last hurdle, losing out on the £500 prize.
Instead the cash has been donated to the Carers Trust, a charity that supports unpaid carers across Bolton.
