THE streets of Atherton were filled with colour as residents converged on the town for the annual carnival.
The carnival brought together a wide range of community organisations and residents, with attractions including a fairground, face painting and classic cars as well as the main parade.
This year the parade took a slightly different route, but the community still turned out to support the event.
Fans of the hit children's film Frozen enjoyed a visit from stars Anna and Elsa, who joined the parade and held a meet and greet event alongside friends from the Wacky Warehouse, Wendy and Wesley.
Also drawing the crowds was the bulldog display team, who performed an amazing acrobatic routine, and a display of musical performances.
Staff from the nearby Tesco also got into the spirit and created a farmyard display.
