A ROCK band from Bolton needs the help of their hometown to secure a spot in a battle of the bands competition.
Girls Girls Girls are currently just in the top spot for the contest – but are hotly contested by girl band Woodie, who are only a few votes behind them.
The lads from the band, including singer and guitarist Sam Steele, aged 19, from Lostock, bassist Danny Morgan, aged 19, from Farnworth, and drummer Will Wolstenholme, aged 18, who attends Canon Slade, hope to win and take the ‘wildcard’ spot in the contest, which will take place at the Sugarhouse in Lancaster on Saturday.
Will said: “We’re sending out a plea to everyone in Bolton to please get behind us and vote.”
