A CAR ended up on its roof after a two car crash this afternoon.
Part of the A6 in Westhoughton was shut after the smash at 1pm, which left one car on its roof and another in the shrubbery just missing a telegraph pole.
Paramedics and firefighters were able to help the woman driver out of the overturned car.
The other driver is thought to have suffered whip lash injuries and with the motorist in the overturned car suffering shock, but is thought to have suffered no serious injury.
Both were taken to hospital as a precaution.
