BONFIRE fun will return to Leverhulme Park on Friday, November 3 with a spectacular firework display and funfair.
The fun starts at 6pm and radio DJs will entertain before 8pm, when a dazzling firework display will fill the night sky, complete with dramatic musical accompaniment.
The fair will feature a range of fantastic rides and traditional food favourites including black peas, toffee apples and candy-floss.
The event is free to attend, but organisers encourage people to travel by public transport where possible, as parking is limited.
Visitors are asked not to bring their own fireworks or sparklers to the event, to ensure everyone’s safety.
The event has been organised by Bolton Council in association with Stanley John Cubbins Amusements and Tower FM.
Any bonfires built on council land, for safety reasons, will be treated as fly-tipping and removed as soon as possible, say Bolton Council.
If residents see a bonfire on private land that they believe could be dangerous then they should contact Fire Stoppers on 0800 923 9999.
