YOU will be in your mid-50s now. But the year you left school will be etched in your memory.
It was 1979, you were probably listening to The Jam and Madness and Margaret Thatcher had just been elected Prime Minister.
But the biggest thing in your life was probably your O' levels and it was your last year at high school.
If you were a pupil at Rivington and Blackrod High School you are invited to relive those memories next month.
On February 24, 7pm those who attended 'Rivi High' are invited to celebrate the class of 1979 at a school reunion for old friends and staff.
The reunion will take place at Horwich RMI, in Ramsbottom Road, Horwich.
A DJ and refreshments will be available. Tickets are £5 on the door or available from Gill Walsh or David Dootson via Facebook.
