KEN Dodd’s forthcoming show at the Albert Halls has been cancelled.
The decision was taken by his management after the comedy legend was admitted to hospital with a severe chest infection.
The 90-year-old, who was knighted in the Queen’s 2017 New Year’s Honour’s List, was due to appear at the Albert Halls on Friday, February 3 as part of his Happiness Show tour.
A council spokesman said: “Unfortunately Ken has had to cancel his show at the Albert Halls. We know that his fans will be disappointed but Ken’s health is the top priority and we wish him all the best in his recovery.”
Customers will be contacted directly by the council’s ticket supplier, Quay Tickets, by email and telephone to process ticket refunds.
