FANS of classic rock should bolt to Queen’s Park this weekend for one of the biggest musical dates on the town’s calendar.

Boltfest, the annual tribute to the giants of rock, is expected to attract thousands, drawn by the quality of the acts on offer and another weekend of promised sunshine.

Tickets are going fast but The Bolton News has a number of family tickets (for four) and tickets for pairs to be won.

The fun-filled, free festival will see performers paying homage to a range of icons from Queen, David Bowie and Elvis, through to Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon and Metallica.

Festivalgoers will have choice of two music stages and there will also be several beer tents, food stalls, children’s activities and a VIP area.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply correctly answer this question: What was the title of the hit musical named after a Queen hit?

Entries should be emailed to lisa.schofield@nqnw.co.uk

Entries should arrive by midnight on Wednesday, May 23. Please include a mobile phone number and state which type of ticket you want.

Winners can collect their tickets from The Bolton News, The Wellsprings, Civic Centre, Bolton, BL1 1AR by 4pm this Friday.
