A MAN has been found dead at a barber's shop in Farnworth.
The man, thought to be in his 40s, was found dead at Clyde's in Higher Market Street today.
Police were called at 12.40pm and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
People who knew him have paid tribute to him.
Alan Tingley, aged 56, of Bradford Street, Farnworth, said: “I’m absolutely gutted – I’m shocked, really.
“He was sound as a pound and he loved his music.”
Sarah Anderson, aged 44, of Highfield Street, Farnworth, added: “He was a very popular guy and he was dedicated to his job. He will be sorely missed.”
