YOUNGSTERS from Zac’s Youth Bar in Farnworth are showing their artistic side at an exhibition of art and photography in Bolton’s Market Place this month.

The exhibition will be staged near Starbucks from Friday, March 27 until Sunday, March 29 and officially opened on the Saturday between by the Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Martin Donaghy, at 11am.

The two themes of the exhibition are Identity and Hate Crime Awareness, displayed in 35 exhibits which have taken members of the youth organisation the last few months to complete.

Bethany Jenkins, who works at Zac’s and is an art graduate, explained that the youngsters had really enjoyed creating the work and were very proud to be involved in the exhibition.

The exhibits will later be sold to raise money for the organisation – based in Market Street but with a Prestolee centre and detached work in Little Lever and Tonge Fold.
