A woman was pulled to safety after being trapped in a house fire
A WOMAN was pulled to safety after being trapped in a house fire.
The woman shouted for help from the front room window of the house in Fairfield Road, Farnworth, after a fire broke out in a utility area.
Two passers-by helped her to safety as firefighters arrived just after 12.30pm.
She was taken to hospital for a check up.
The house was badly damaged in the blaze, the cause of which was under investigation.
