THREE men subjected a woman to a violent robbery while she was at home with her children.

The men burst into her house, on Wildman Lane, Farnworth, at around 8.50pm on Wednesday, May 3.

They threatened her with violence and dragged her through rooms demanding money, then fled with cash in a grey car.

One of the men was wearing an orange hi-vis suit and white hat.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

Detective Constable Carl Fairbrother of GMP’s Bolton Borough said: “A woman was scared for her and her young children’s safety and it is imperative that we catch the people that put them through this.

“One of the men was wearing a distinctive high-vis suit and I’m hopeful that someone saw him in the area shortly before or after the robbery and can help our investigation.

“If you saw three men acting suspiciously in the area or have any information about who is behind this violent crime, please get in touch as a matter of urgency.”
