A SPEEDING driver was found to be almost four times over the legal drink driving limit.
The car was stopped by traffic police in Plodder Lane, Farnworth, at around 11.45pm on Wednesday when it was seen doing speeds of around 57mph on the 30mph road.
A roadside breathalyser test was carried out on the driver and he registered 135 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath and was then taken into custody.
