A NEW affordable housing development could be built on former quarry land.
Bolton at Home wants to build 10 bungalows and three houses on land off Deane Close, in Farnworth.
A planning application sent to Bolton Council states that the scheme would have a ‘positive impact in this area as a direct result of its design and appearance’, despite the loss of open space resulting from the development.
