POLICE are on the lookout for a 14-year-old girl who went missing on Christmas Eve.

Emily Summers was last seen on Waverley Avenue at about 6.30pm on Sunday.

She has lived in Bolton since the summer but is originally from Essex and has links to London.

She often visits Gorton and Manchester City Centre.

Officers have described her as Thai-British, about 5ft 3in with a slim build, long black hair, brown eyes and speaks with a southern accent.

The teenager was last seen wearing blue jeans, black trainers and a dark, green thigh-length jacket with a hood.

Detective Inspector Stephanie Parker, from GMP’s Bolton borough, said: "Emily’s family are understandably very worried about her and we are doing everything we can to find her.

"We want to make sure she is safe and I would urge anyone who has seen Emily over the past few days to please contact police.

"Emily, if you are reading this, then please get in touch with your family or police to let us know you are okay."

If anyone has information about her whereabouts or has seen someone matching Emily’s description, call police on 101.
