FIRE crews were called after youths broken in and set fire to a garage in Farnworth.
Residents alerted the fire service after they reported seeing a group of youths force entry to the garage in Harrowby Street and set fire to rubbish inside, at around 7pm today.
Firefighters from Bolton Central prevented the blaze from spreading, however smoke was seen in the area.
Nothing was damaged and it is understood that the garage, which has also been victim to another fire in the past, is derelict.
