A GROUP of ladies raised their glasses — and more than £6,000 for Bolton Hospice in the process.
The hospice raised the money by holding its annual ladies dinner at Rivington Hall Barn, which featured food, entertainment and dancing.
The final figure will go towards the specialist compassionate care provided by Bolton Hospice to local people facing life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Maria Passarello, events manager at Bolton Hospice, said the event was a massive success.
She said: “It was an excellent night, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
"It’s always great to see friends, family and work colleagues coming together to enjoy a full night of entertainment in support of the hospice. We’d like to thank all of the ladies who attended, Westwells Florist for the table centres and everyone who donated prizes to help make the evening such a success.”
