A TEAM that helps children with hearing problems has been officially recognised.
The paediatric audiology team at Royal Bolton Hospital has been nationally accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
It has been named as a quality assured service following a series of online assessments and a site visit at the end of last year.
The team was assessed against the Improving Quality in Physiological Services standards in four areas — patient experience, workforce and facilities, safety and clinical.
Evidence that the service was meeting each of the standards to the satisfaction of UKAS.
The service says it has put a 'huge amount' of work into this area and is very proud to be recognised as a quality provider.
