LOCAL people of Bolton ventured across the waters to the Greek Islands in 1970 on a Bolton Evening News cruise. Our picture shows the tourists taking a well-earned rest after their long haul up to the Acropolis. After their walk, It seems that most of them did not even have enough energy left to raise a smile for the photographer while others seem enthralled with the historic facts the guide was no doubt telling them.
